Background
Gender mainstreaming in projects is about using participatory approaches in all project stages. It aims to create gender-sensitive projects that help measure gender-related changes in society, politics, and economic participation, among other spheres.

it is ensuring that there are strategies and actions for ending discrimination at all levels and stages of the project cycle; taking into consideration men and women’s needs, desires, ambitions when decisions are made and resources are allocated.
