The CIVICUS alliance is a vibrant network of engaged and informed citizens acting together for a more just, inclusive and sustainable world.

There is a wide range of programming that you can access based on your interests and needs. These engagement opportunities, tools and resources are regularly featured in member mailers.

Participate in International Civil Society Week, 8-12 April 2019 in Belgrade, Serbia.  Voting members receive event registration discounts.

Follow the conversation on Reimagining Democracy. Throughout 2018, members have contributed their perspectives through articles, interviews, creative expressions and democracy dialogues.

30 years of age or under?  Join our Youth Working Group. Voting members are eligible to apply to be part of the Youth Action Team.

Join the Vuka! Coalition for Civic Action to build solidarity and collectively mobilise to reclaim civic space.

Organise an event that brings people together across lines of division during the annual SPEAK! campaign’s days of global action 16-18 November. 

Sign up to the MobLab Dispatch and access resources to become more effective in the digital age, including information related to training, campaign workshops, and organisational coaching. that help young people to use data to tackle sustainable development goals.

Stand for or nominate an individual or organisation for the Nelson Mandela Graça Machel Innovation Awards which recognise excellence, innovation and bravery in creating positive social change.


Apply to the Crisis Response Fund to access funding for emergency advocacy actions in response to restrictions that impede your organisation’s work.

Participate in the CIVICUS Fellowship Programme which places professionals in a national and/or regional voting member organisation for a two-year period.
