The ENNA in Nigeria was undertaken between November 2014 and April 2015 by the Nigeria Network of NGOs.

The findings in this report demonstrates that the regulatory environment for CSOs in Nigeria is relatively enabling with CSOs enjoying freedom form legal and illegal restrictions seen in other African countries and across the world. There are still challenges in the regulatory and policy environment for civil society.  Recent years have seen a turbulent relationship between the state and civil society with CSOs highlighting shortcomings of the legislations governing CSOs.
