Accountability Accelerator Online Course

Accountability Accelerator is a free online course that will teach you how to make your work more relevant and responsive to the communities that you serve – vital ingredients for greater organisational impact and resilience. The course will help you to understand key accountability concepts and develop practical ways for applying these to your organisations’ activities.

This course is an initiative of CIVICUS from the Resilient Roots team, in partnership with ICD/Rendir Cuentas.

  • Any CIVICUS' member organisation (or individual member affiliated to a civil society organisation)

  • Those interested in improving their organisation’s accountability practices, no matter what their starting point!

This course will run for two cycles, the first cycle in English, and the second cycle in French. Each cycle will run for 7 weeks (starting 22 February 2022), divided into 1 module per week. Participants will need to spend approximately 2-3 hours per week on the course.

The live sessions will usually be 60 minutes in length and take place on Tuesdays, in the morning for the Americas and the Caribbean, at lunch time/early afternoon for Africa and Europe, late afternoon for central and south Asia, and evening for east Asia. Calendar invites with exact timings will be sent to confirmed participants in due course.

These modules will be delivered through live sessions, peer learning, self-study using course materials, and direct support from facilitators
