Through this campaign, we celebrate Human Rights Defenders, spotlight civil society movements, and invite people everywhere to stand in solidarity with those holding the line for civic freedoms.

How to take part
Create and share short-form content such as Reels, TikToks, videos, photo stories, artwork, written reflections, or personal testimonies that highlight resistance, solidarity, and the defence of civic freedoms.
Tell a story from your community — local, personal, and real.
You can respond to prompts such as:
What does defending freedoms of speech, collective action, and protests look like in your community?
What difficulties have you or someone you know faced for speaking up?
What gives you hope for civic freedoms in your country?
Why are community voices important when the government is controlling the game?

Keep it simple and rooted in lived experience. This campaign is about amplifying real stories, not perfection.
