An archive of stories that were silenced
Every day, stories disappear before they reach you. Not because they weren’t reported, not because they didn’t matter, but because they were stopped.
It might have been about a protest that never made it to the front page.
Or an investigation that stopped just short of naming who was responsible.
Or a voice that was ready to speak, until it wasn’t.
Somewhere, a journalist sat with that story. They followed it, verified it, built it carefully - and then something changed. This happens every day, in different ways, in different places. Most of the time, you never know it happened. There’s no headline for a story that wasn’t allowed to exist.
The Unpublished is a record of these stories. Each blank page in this archive represents one story that couldn’t be published. On their own, these pages look empty but together, they show a pattern. A blank page where a name could have been printed. Where evidence could have been laid out. Where truth could have been uncovered.
Press freedom is not just about what gets published. It’s also about what doesn’t.
