TSUNAMI RESPONSE
The terrible tsunami tragedy that has transformed the shores of the Indian Ocean in both Asia and Africa, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths and seriously affecting the livelihoods of millions of people in many countries, raises many challenges for civil society. The University Center for International Studies at the University of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania, USA) is inviting applications for the 2005-06 H. J. Heinz Company Foundation Fellowship Program, giving one year of practical, professional, and non-degree educational experience through the University of Pittsburgh.
A consortium of six foundations from Europe and the USA led by the Robert Bosch Foundation is inviting applications for the first round of the International Fellowship Programme (IFP) for Central and Eastern European Foundations and NGOs.
