Roseline Zigomo: World Assembly Manager
Roseline joined CIVICUS as World Assembly Manager in December 2005. Prior to this, Roseline was a Partner in the law firm of Atherstone & Cook in Zimbabwe, where she worked for over 10 years. There, she was involved in litigation including human rights advocacy. She has represented commercial farmers, journalists working for the independent press and non-governmental organisations, among others. Roseline was a Humphrey Fellow from 2003-2004 under the Fulbright Exchange programme. Roseline has worked for IFES Democracy at Large, Washington DC, in the Rule of Law and the Southern and East Africa departments and then consulted for its Center for Transitional and Post-Conflict Governance (CTPCG). She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Zimbabwe, and a Masters in International Legal Studies from American University, Washington College of Law, USA. Roseline is also co-ordinating the Participatory Governance programme for CIVICUS.
